Welcome to the Future Scientists Forum (6D.FSF), an innovative initiative by 6D.Varsity designed to cultivate a robust scientific workforce. Our mission is to establish chapters at schools and colleges, providing students and faculty with the resources to engage in cutting-edge research, receive expert training, and prepare for successful careers in scientific research.

6D-Institutional Chapter (6D.FSS.IC) 
Faculty/Teachers
  • Requirements: A minimum of 2 faculty members with a core interest in scientific research.

  • Roles: Mentor and guide students, facilitate research projects, and coordinate with 6D.Varsity for program implementation.

Students
  • Requirements: 5-10 (max) students committed to pursuing careers in scientific research. 

  • Roles: Participate in training programs, engage in research projects, and contribute to the chapter's activities.

Program Duration and Levels
12-24 Months Future Scientists Programs:
  • Designed to provide comprehensive training in lifesciences research across three levels.

  • Training is provided by University of Wisconsin-Madison Research Faculty, CSIR Scientists, and top industry experts.

Training Levels
Future Scientist - Level 1: Introduction to Life Sciences Research
  • Duration: 6 months

  • Objective: Introduce students to the basics of life sciences research, including foundational concepts, methodologies, and techniques.

  • Content: Basic principles of BioDiscovery, introductory laboratory skills, research ethics, and initial project work.

Future Scientist - Level 2: Advanced Life Sciences Research
  • Duration: 6 months

  • Objective: Build on the foundational knowledge with advanced topics and more complex research projects.

  • Content: Advanced bio processing concepts, experimental design, data analysis, and interpretation, advanced laboratory techniques.

Future Scientist - Level 3: Professional Life Sciences Research
  • Duration: 6 months

  • Objective: Prepare students for professional research careers with in-depth training and real-world research experience.

  • Content: Specialized research topics, professional lab work, collaboration with research institutions, and preparation for publication or presentation of research findings, and become Global Research Ambassadors.
