FSF - Volunteer Change Maker Roles
FSF offers various volunteer roles designed to provide meaningful experiences while supporting our goals.
Responsibilities

Develop and refine policies to guide the Future Scientists Program.

Design innovative and impactful programs under the FSF umbrella.

Coordinate with various FSF chapters to ensure alignment and consistency in activities.

Plan, organize, and oversee FSF-related events, ensuring smooth execution.
Entry Criteria

Undergraduate (UG) or Postgraduate (PG) student majoring in Sciences or Technology.
Time Commitment

10-15 hours per week.
Term & Duration

6-12 months
Volunteer Role
-
Not a paid role. Work-based travel and allowances are covered by FSF.
Activities You Will Be Involved In
Policy Design
Engage young scientists in shaping policies that influence the scientific community:

Policy Development: Draft and refine policies through research and collaboration.

Stakeholder Engagement: Gather input from academic, industry, and governmental stakeholders.

Advocacy: Promote policies through writing, presentations, and outreach.
Program Development
Create and implement educational and research programs that provide hands-on experience and foster innovation:

Curriculum Design: Develop engaging lesson plans and instructional materials.

Research Projects: Assist in designing, collecting, and analyzing data for research projects. methodologies, collecting and analyzing data, and presenting findings.

Innovation Challenges: Organize competitions that encourage creative problem-solving.
Chapter Coordination
Establish and maintain active chapters in academic institutions to promote FSF's mission

Chapter Establishment: Recruit members and set up new chapters.

Support and Guidance: Provide ongoing guidance and resources to existing chapters.

Networking and Collaboration: Facilitate communication and joint initiatives among chapters.
Event Coordination
Organize workshops, seminars, and conferences for knowledge sharing and networking

Planning: Manage event logistics, schedules, and speakers.

Content Development: Create engaging presentations and discussions.

Engagement: Facilitate networking and collaboration opportunities.

Promotion: Advertise events to reach a wide audience.
